Year End Review

So the year is winding down and it has flown by faster than any other... and I know it's not quite close to New Year's yet, but in case I forget to do this later, I just wanted to re-cap a few things for posterity... my own, really.

I learned to never date a divorced person unless it's been at least TWO years since their divorce. There are on-going issues with those broken individuals that can blindside you at the worst possible moment.

I bought a house.

I traveled to L.A. for the first time and partied in Hollywood. (Well, I didn't really "party" in the most commonly used sense of the word.)

I watched friends go through break-ups.

I watched friends start to date.

I had three different roommates.

I painted a lot.

I took lots of pictures and broke my camera twice.

I got way more comfortable with myself and less worried about the details.

I saw George Washington's house.

These are just a few things that left the biggest impressions on me. But really, I think what I've done this year is I've spent more time focused on other things besides relationships and that's why I've been so happy and that means something to me. 2006 was happy... then sad. 2007 was a major growth spurt. And that kicks something... God is in the details... we are in the moment. Just be there and don't worry about the next thing...
